CDPAP

VNHC_CDPAP_iStock_000026798524LargeThe Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP) is a Medicaid program that provides services for help with activities of daily living (ADL’s) or skilled nursing services to chronically ill or physically disabled individuals who have a medical need. The consumer or the person acting on the consumer’s behalf assumes full responsibility for the recruiting, hiring, training and supervision of their Personal Assistant.

Eligibility for the program is determined by your local Department of Social Services or managed care organization. Visiting Nurses Home Care provides services for CDPAP and we can assist the consumer with the process and understanding how the program works. We assist with processing weekly payroll and coordinating benefits for the Personal Assistants.
